Article 3 – Objectives & Activities
The objectives of this organisation shall be to achieve the following three demands using non-violent direct action:
The activities of the organisation shall be in line with its objectives. General activities may include the following:
Article 4 – Membership
For the benefit of this constitution; the definition of a member is an individual who has willingly signed up to receive information, regarding the activities of Extinction Rebellion Lincolnshire, via the organisations’ mailing list. This list is managed in accordance with current GDPR regulations.
We ask that members organise and operate in accordance with our three demands (above) and our ten principles and values (below). All members will be supplied a copy of this constitution, and may be asked to leave if they diverge from these.
Article 5 – Organising Working Groups
The organisation uses a holocratic decision making process. We are organised into six main Working Groups which may also contain further sub-groups:
Article 6 – Finance
Any money obtained by the organisation shall be used only for the organisation.
Any bank or savings accounts opened by the organisation shall be in the name of Extinction Rebellion Lincolnshire
Amanda Drury, Joseph Hoare, and Philip Jackson shall be responsible for the finances of the organisation.
Article 7 – Officers
The organisation, although holocratic in nature, is required to have three nominated officers. These being:
· Chair – Joseph Hoare
· Secretary – Edward Francis
· Treasurer – Amanda Drury
Article 8 — Meetings
The organisation shall aim to have 10 main meeting per year plus a variable number of ad-hoc AG and officer meetings per month.
The organisation shall have at least one general meeting per year at which amendments can be made to the Constitution.
Meetings and General Meeting shall be deemed to be quorate if at least 10% of members attend, of which at least 1 must be an Officer.
Any changes to the Constitution must be agreed by at least a two thirds majority of those members in attendance.

This constitution was adopted by the members present at a meeting held on: 2nd July 2019
