At the same time as Coal Action Network, Mothers Rise Up, Quakers UK, StopEACOP and Tipping Point, we will be targeting the global insurance industry – the people who could stop the fossil fuel crooks in their tracks overnight if they wanted to.
Because no insurance = no more drilling for oil and gas

The majority of the UK public are terrified about what is happening to our climate. The government can't be trusted to do the right thing to protect lives. They open coal mines and politicians fill their pockets. They wreck the economy, education system and our NHS. All the while they pin responsibility on poor families, people of colour, and new immigrants.
If politicians aren’t willing to put in the hard graft to turn things around, then we will. It’s time we choose our own future.
Because change is coming whether they like it or not. So, it’s time for corrupt politicians to step aside and for the rest of us to step in and unite to survive. It’s time to roll up our sleeves and get on with it.
With 100,000 people at Parliament taking action together, we will become impossible to ignore. The community built there will kick-start the alternative future desperately needed, showing what the true potential of the human spirit is capable of in the face of impossible odds.

Event by Caroline Carr. A protest for all to highlight the ongoing problem of pollution on our beautiful estuary and beaches from sewage, plastic, environmental hazards and other polluters.
Join our various groups, councillors and partners to share our disgust at the state of our seas.
Our Big Wave 2 at 9:30 am as the tide comes in will share our concerns and ask questions to council, polluters and Anglian Water about what more can be done to prevent this pollution.
The Environment Secretary stated that it will be addressed... Deadline 27 years!
This is not acceptable...
WE NEED YOU! IT’S NOT TOO LATE TO SAVE OUR WORLD. Want to know how? Come to our talk!
We’re fed up with sitting at home worrying about what the climate emergency means for our future.
So, we’ve decided to do something about it. We’re inviting you and lots of your neighbours to an important talk and get-together organised by XR Lincoln. Teas and coffees will be provided.
It’s all about:
• Why we’re currently in Big Trouble with the climate
• Why voting, marching and signing petitions won’t help
• Why just 3.5% of us working together in 2023 could turn things around
All around the UK, local people are getting organised.
It’s time to stop feeling powerless and alone, and get to know other amazing local people who want to make a difference too.
This is our chance to be a part of something big - and there’s a role for everyone.
Come along to the University of Lincoln Minerva Building Atrium, LN6 7TS at 6.45pm on 1st December for a community talk about the climate crisis and what we can do about it. John Grant, Climate Change Scientist, will give the talk- come and mingle and chat, everyone is welcome.
Free vegan food!
We look forward to seeing you!
